Optimised schedule management

VCM has a unique scheduling method!

  • VCM was originally designed for virtual (real) competitions where each match is played on a screen (pitch).
  • Therefore, if there are too many players and not enough screens, there may be waiting times. For example, for a championship with 6 teams and only 2 screens available. In each round, only 4 teams can play at the same time because there are only two availables screens.
  • The auto-generated schedule maximises the waiting time between each match, so that each team plays in rotation without too much waiting.
  • It also distributes the number of matches played on each pitch equally.
  • When there are home and away matches, the algorithm distributes the home and away matches equally.

Yes, it’s completely free and will remain so! I want everyone to be welcome to use it, but there’s a bit of advertising inside (but don’t worry, it’s not annoying 🙂 ).

Unfortunately not. As explained, I’m the only one developing this application and I don’t have the time to develop it on iOS.

I originally developed the application to manage FIFA or PES tournaments between friends. So it’s very well designed for football, but many users use it for other sports or video games, such as handball, rugby or Rocket League.

Virtual Competition Manager has been translated by the VCM community for free. All you need to do is to write me or register on this link and specify which language you can translate it into. To translate it correctly, you need to speak French or English.

In order to satisfy you as much as possible, there is a Telegram group where you can vote for the next feature to be added to the application for the next update. The list of proposed features is based on your suggestions.
